Before this project, families in Kochon Mawon walked miles daily to access clean water. Through collective fundraising by diaspora members and local coordination, we constructed a central water fountain that now serves the entire community. The project was completed in 2022 and has dramatically improved daily life, particularly for women and children who previously bore the burden of water collection.
